What moves the number?
This is a test metric. The ingredients stay visible so an implausible ranking can be investigated instead of explained away.
How well a player scored, plus how far they finished above or below their opponents.
Weighted win rate plus deep runs across multiple events. One isolated final cannot carry the ranking.
Opponent strength and the share of matches played at a 95+ average.
Majors carry 1.30 weight, Euro Tours 1.15, World Series events 1.05 and floor events 1.00. Smaller samples are pulled toward the player’s season Power+; qualification requires at least eight matches in two events.
